I watched the Good Morning Britain interview.
Unbelievable. I think Bristow's an offensive idiot, obviously, but the child abuse charity woman said
1. he's spouting his Twitter opinions for his own personal gain (eh? He got fired from his Sky job over it. How does that work?)
2. Then said she'd like to take three darts to him and "stick them where the sun doesn't shine". She basically threatened him with violent assault on live TV.
3. She then said he should donate money to her charity because "we've got no money". What was that about financial gain??
None of the above was questioned by Morgan.
Farcical.

I think his choice of words was stupid (if not simply ignorant at the way things work these days) but the order he put them in makes whatever he said open to interpretation.
Stephen Fry was very deliberate in what he said, which was basically exactly what Bristow is being accused of saying.
One has lost his job and is probably finished, the other is still a national treasure.
Where's the consistency?

Bristow has not been let off, he has very much paid for his indiscretion and probably will have to do so for some more years.
Bristow is a dinosaur who tried to dance with Twiitter that is all he did wrong he does not deserve to be treated like a monster for simply being an idiot.

Brian Moore use it to flog his book that's all he talked about on promoting it -abusing the system big time and insulting others who have been and getting paid more then Bristow .
This time next year 100 new books out on it and friendly match at Wembley and don't forget to wear your ribbon for the day on watching it so it makes you feel better.

Eric Bristow made a silly mistake, he should not have commented on such a sensitive topic.
Piers Morgan is a nasty putrid butt sucking piece of garbage journalist and has about as much technique as an Interviewer as a pompous billionaire would, he is suited to Television like a gold fish would be as a nightclub bouncer.
The true crime is the cunt who ever thought Piers Morgan had any integrity Intelligence or application for Television.

agree with much of it - if he'd put his point across a bit more eloquently he may have been able to ride out the storm.
don't think sky had much choice in firing him but I hope his whole career isn't forever down the pan because of this.

I can't stand Morgan but Bristow, not being as clever as him and his tweets being as they were.
